That’s why you need an agent who answers the phone when nobody else will. You need an agent who will knock on the door no other agent has. You need an agent who will use a strategy nobody else has imagined.
That’s why Paul Aker is the agent that you want on your side.
Paul is unique. He blends innovative sales techniques with old fashioned hard work to help you get what you want. His system involves visual storytelling and electronic marketing. The result is more eyeballs on the property you want to sell…and a better chance of finding the home that you would like to buy.
For years, Paul Aker was the last person corrupt politicians wanted to see standing on their door- step. Paul was known as a tenacious investigative reporter. He got results—change for the better. Along the way, his work earned numerous journalism awards including an Edward R. Murrow Award, a national Investigative Reporters and Editors (IRE) finalist designation and 13 Emmy Statues.
Paul also fought for people in the courtroom. Paul has a law license in Ohio where he has practiced real estate law, consumer law and business transactions, among other areas.
He graduated from Capital University Law School in Columbus, Ohio. There, he served on Moot Court and Law Review. Paul published a law review article, Towards Darkness: Ohio’s Presumption of Openness Under The Public Records Act . Paul externed for Ohio’s Chief Supreme Court Justice. Paul holds a Juris Doctor degree with a civil litigation concentration. He graduated magna cum laude (high honors).
Paul was born to a single mother and is the oldest of 9 children. He’s not ashamed to say that he came from a humble childhood. Even so, he managed to become his high school student body president, captain of a football team that won a state title, and get accepted to Willamette University (where he also played football for a short time.) Paul graduated from Willamette University with a degree in Rhetoric and Media Studies.
He used that degree in television. He started as an intern at KOIN-TV in Portland, OR. He has also worked in Iowa, South Dakota, Missouri, Kansas, Seattle and Columbus, Ohio.
